From reader DTB (full name withheld just in case she’d have wanted us to): “Absolutely loved your book! My husband and I couldn't put it down — other than the times we were laughing so hard we had to catch our breath Ha!”

We just received this delightful note from a reader:
I purchased the Kindle version of your book ... and read it straight thru. It was, without a doubt, a most entertaining and poignant presentation and it uniquely accomplished your goal of "humor and satire". I wasn't prepared to burst out laughing and found it a wonderful alternative to the usual dour and sometimes boring presentations of similar books. Impassioned, powerful and succinct and with a compelling imperative to discover genuine and rational purpose in life. It also accomplishes much more than a simple delineation of the TLC cult. It proffers wonderful insights into how any of us can rationalize an inability to be rational. I sometimes call it an arrogance of ignorance. I couldn't put the story down. George Carlin, Mark Twain, and Julia Sweeney would be delighted
This is a fun read and an interesting perspective on everything from magic underwear to cults to Carlin to occult baptisms. It is a must-read before viewing the motion picture "The Master." —W. L. Rubink 4.0 out of 5 stars Window into a secret world October 1, 2012 By Dee Format:Kindle Edition “The book is well paced and doesn't drag, which makes it an easy read. It's also told with a lot of humor. The author doesn't demonize the people she describes, so they stay real and don't become caricatures. It's a good portrait of group-think, and illustrates just how easy it is to go off the rails with a charismatic leader and some isolation. I do wish she had spent a bit more time talking about how she got out, at least in terms of what was going on in her head. It was easier to see how she got into her situation, bit by bit, but harder to see the internal process for getting out. Overall the book is an interesting insight into the dynamics of a small polygamist group.” “This woman's experiences will shock you, but she and her co-author manage to show how intelligent people can come to believe what is least believable. The topic is serious, but the story is told in a light-hearted, witty fashion and without ridicule. I HIGHLY recommend it.” —Clinical psychologist Barbara Drescher on GoodReads.com Thanks to Jacque, who wrote: “I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I am not a Mormon, but have many family members who are. The author showed with humor and insight how how this "religion" tears apart families and drives it's members insane with the always present dictate to be "perfect". Even further, the patriarcal dictates brought down onto polygamist families are even more "crazy-making". The book was easy to read, informative, and every enjoyable.” Click here to read Jacque’s review on the Kindle bookstore page. *It’s Not About the Sex” My Ass” just hit Amazon’s NUMBER ONE for “hot new releases in Mormonism”8/4/2012 Thanks everyone!
