How to protect your freedom of religion
Separate church from state. And vice versa. Ultimately and inevitably, a church influencing the state and a state influencing a church become one and the same. Just as ultimately and just as inevitably, intermingling the two must abridge someone’s freedom to worship or not, and to financially support or not, as he or she pleases.
