Death of another charlatan
Leader of plyg cult Apostolic United Brethren succumbs
Lamoine Jenson, prophet of the Apostolic United Brethren (AUB) died Tuesday from colon cancer.
According Salt Lake City's Fox13now.com, an AUB representative called Jenson “... one of the kindest, gentlest, a very unassuming man. He was a tremendous leader. He will be greatly missed by many.”
With so much attention focused on Warren Jeffs, many may not have heard of Jenson. Yet he was no small potatoes. The Salt Lake Tribune reports some 5,000 to 7,500 adherents in three countries. (Click here to read the Tribune article.) Jenson is to be succeeded by Lynn A. Thompson.
