★★★★★ Funny but serious
I don't believe I have ever read such a funny book in my life. It kept me in stitches all Sunday afternoon, because I couldn't put it down. The only thing was, the subject was not funny. My husband and I have encountered similar things of a lesser degree in churches throughout our 50 years of marriage. However, unlike the author, these things led us away from church and not away from God. The humor with which the author wrote gave me a greater understanding of these groups of people which I had been wanting.This "church" was not based on the Bible, but on some horney little man's misinterpretation of the Bible. So glad I found this book. I read most of the book to my husband, and he liked it, too.—Sharon
